It was a ballet. A story but Hans Christian Andersen (don't tell me you don't know him). It was a story of a girl who wore a pair of red shoes that refused to come off. It made her dance all night and day.

dorian gray- ben barnes?

I decided to read THE PICTURE OF DORIAN GRAY. It was in one of mum's oldish omnibuses of Oscar Wilde's works, so I thought I ought to read it and see what Ben Barnes is in for in his next movie.
(Ben Barnes is going to play Dorian Gray in the adaption of the book)
when i started the book, i thought he was perfect for the role--

'with his finely-curved scarlet lips, his frank blue eyes, his crisp golden hair... One felt that he had kept himself unspotted from the world.'

Perfect, except for the blonde part. The part about him being unspotted from the world? Well, that will change. I'm giving no spoilers here, but I'm not watching the last bit of the film.
